Physical pain

Picture of the eagle Both Hypnotherapy and EFT can be exellent at relieving physical pain. Probably the best example of this is the use of hypnosis in operations involving limb amputation without the use of surgical anesthesia, in fact there were more operations of this nature carried out in Nass General Hospital by Dr Jack Gibson than anywhere else in the world.

Hypnotherapy and EFT can successfully treat a wide range of physical illnesses and pain, both stand alone and in conjunction with medical treatments. The theory being that if there is no mechanical reason for the pain e.g. a broken bone then chances are that there is a psychological or emotional reason for it. A good example for this would be a stress headache, or neck pain. However it can show up anywhere in the body, sometimes in the strangest places. Often by relieving or reframing the emotional issue we can disolve the physical issue as well. This has been seen in cases of asthma, back ache, warts, rashes, urinary problems and a whole host of other ailments.

Some of EFT's most impressive work comes with the treatment of pain, with frequent 'one minute wonders', whereby the pain is cured within minutes . However this is not always the case. To clear physical pain EFT balances out the energy system with regard to that pain and/or resolves any emotional drivers behind it. In fact it is so effective at this it can cure ailments that previously haven't responded to other forms of therapy at all.

It must be stressed that you are always advised to seek medical treatment before you try any form of complimentary medicine. While Hypnotherapy/ EFT can and does bring great results, you must take responsibility for your own health by consulting your GP about any serious illness.

Because of the wide range of physical pains and reasond behind them, it can take from one to any number of sessions to see results. However, in keeping with the I.H.A. code of ethics, all clients will be given the shortest possible treatment time. And if it is felt that a different form of treatment would have better results, you will be advised to seek out that treatment.
