Stop Smoking


One of the best known uses of Hypnotherapy is in it's sucess rate with stop smoking clients. Hypnotherapy actually changes the way you think about smoking, and so changes your reaction to cigarettes and smoking. One of the most benefital things anyone can do for themselves is to give up smoking, just ask any ex- smoker! The cost of a Hypnotherapy treatment for smoking is tiny compared to the amount of money spent on cigarettes and the health gains are only all too well known.

Granted nicotine is a difficult substance to go without when giving up smoking, but after a few days it is out of your system and most smokers agree that quitting smoking for a few days is difficult but achievable. However as anyone who has quit smoking and went back after a few weeks or months will tell you, it's just not that simple. The reason for this is that the psychological reasons for smoking are still there. While they are in your mind, you will still crave a cigarette. Using hypnosis, you can deal with all of the emotional and psychological aspects of giving up smoking. You can prepare for the possible pitfalls and programme your subconscious to act in the way you want it to. For example if you normally associate smoking with driving for example, you could replace that negative habit with paying full attention to your mirrors, or snacking on fruit, or whatever is acceptable to you.
